NAME: Jonathan Alexander Gibson
AGE: 24
Jon is the owner and founder of Aerial Design.
He loves anything to do with layout, aesthetics, typography or colour.
Starting out with an old, second hand version of photoshop 7, Jon built up a portfolio of self assigned projects, until he found a bunch of people who wanted to pay him for the things he created. Now, almost 6 years later and having earned enough to purchase his own equipment, Jon has expanded his skill set to offering illustration, photography and video editing.
Jon is a big music fan and a keen musician, his favourite movie is Jurassic Park. He is convinced that a can of Pepsi, or a hot, buttered corn on the cob, increases his productivity by at least 30%.
Jon has recently been listening to Nikki Fletcher, Example, Tim Hughes and 3OH!3.
NAME: Aaron Harding
AGE: 20
Aaron could be described as the left hemisphere of the Aerial Design brain, bringing an unhealthy knowledge of coding and web language to its operations. Hemisphere theory, however is massively disproved. And so should its associations.
Yes, Aaron is crazy good with computer languages, but he also has a keen eye for layout and detail and is quite often the initial spark for ideas and concepts.
Block colours, Helvetica and good quality video edits are among the things he loves. He would be quite happy if Anberlin were the only band on his iPod, but also loves the ambient, the indie and the underground. He is way too skinny but is still Katos favourite.
Aaron has recently been listening to Sleigh Bells, Boy & Bear and Bob Dylan.
NAME: Luke Samuel Gibson
AGE: 27
Meet Luke.
Although he is not an official Aerial employee, he is definitely a part of our team. Luke is an English degree student, a talented musician and a fan of the creative. His way with words is unparalleled. Whether it's a short story, poem or lyrics, Luke manages to capture moments, penning them beautifully.
Using these skills Luke contributes to our blog, shedding light on some of the cooler things we love in the design world. If its creative, attractive or clever... chances are he already knows about it and is halfway through the blog post. And with plenty of background in the the nerdy things we adore, we are proud to call him a design geek like us.
