Because it’s fashionable…?
March 25, 2010People often ask why we pick the colour schemes we use, or how we set the tone using a palette. After sending people here, we usually try and say something clever about pigment, colour consistency or ICC profiling. This time we’re gonna give it to you straight. We settled on the colours for the St Peters: Summer Team flyer because they’re fashionable… apparently.
Always judge a book by its cover
March 25, 2010I just can’t help it, no matter how hard I try. Every time I walk through Waterstones I find I’m pulled between the books that appeal to me aesthetically… Maybe its because I’m a designer? Whatever the reason, it highlighted to me the importance of reaching every possible reader. Age old sayings aside, some people will base their first impressions on what they see, rather than what they read! We received the brief to design the cover for Maximised mind power, with strict instructions to address this very issue.

Meanwhile in Australia..
March 20, 2010The above photo was taken by Ben Blenner, who’s studying Graphic Design and Photography in Australia. He’s a good friend of ours, who was looking for some guys to help him out with his online portfolio, so we were like ‘Hi – we’ve worked with Australians before! We don’t always understand them, but we’re OK with that’.
